The Surplus Store, a family-owned gem since 1946, has carved out a unique niche as the only army surplus store in West Los Angeles. Customers rave about its vast selection of military clothing and camping gear, with many stating that they consistently find high-quality items at excellent prices. As Bryan Wiley expressed, 'Absolutely love this spot. Can't say enough. They have huge amount of useful items.' This sentiment echoes throughout the reviews, highlighting the store's commitment to providing a diverse inventory that caters to various needs and budgets.
Reviewers particularly appreciate the friendly customer service and the spacious layout that makes browsing easy. Rachel Rouzan noted, 'They always have some great stuff at this store.' Notably, the store includes a hidden room filled with uniforms and rucksacks, which Kent Nishi mentioned, adding an element of surprise to the shopping experience. Went here to look for USGI ALICE gear and some BDUβs, (of which they had both). Prices were very good and they have a lot of good inventory!!! BTW thereβs a hidden room in the side of the store that has a lot of uniforms, boots, and rucksacks.
Great stock. Easy parking. Next to Versailles. Get some camo then go eat some amazing Cuban food.
Absolutely love this spot. Can't say enough. They have huge amount of useful items. Stop in and check it out, your sure to find something you need
There are unusual finds here. If you need a good blanket the ones here are better than a home goods store, the camping stuff is good quality. For an independent store prices are very reasonable here. Worth a visit. Staff is very helpful
